Crownz Returns to Cannabis Europa London 2026

This May, Crownz returned to Cannabis Europa London, one of Europe’s key events for the medical cannabis industry, bringing together professionals from across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, investment, regulation and the wider cannabis sector.

Having attended Cannabis Europa previously, it was great to be back again in 2026 with members of the Crownz team — reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new people and taking part in conversations about the continued development of medical cannabis in the UK and across Europe.

Back at Cannabis Europa

Held at the Barbican Centre in London, Cannabis Europa 2026 brought together industry leaders, clinicians, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and other professionals for two days of discussions and networking.

This year’s programme covered some of the most important topics currently shaping the sector, including patient access, clinical practice, regulation, investment and the continued growth of medical cannabis markets across Europe.

For Crownz, returning to the event was particularly valuable as we continue to develop our presence within the UK medical cannabis and pharmaceutical sector.

Connecting with the Industry

Events like Cannabis Europa provide an important opportunity to move conversations beyond emails and video calls and meet people from across the industry face to face.

Throughout the two days, our team had the opportunity to reconnect with existing contacts, establish new relationships and exchange ideas with professionals working across different parts of the medical cannabis ecosystem.

With the UK medical cannabis sector continuing to develop rapidly, discussions around improving patient access, maintaining high pharmaceutical standards and building reliable supply chains were particularly relevant to the work we are doing at Crownz.

A Growing UK Medical Cannabis Market

The scale of the UK market was another important theme surrounding this year’s event. According to figures reported ahead of Cannabis Europa 2026, the UK medical cannabis market was valued at approximately £226 million in 2025, with around 92,000 active patients and approximately 30 tonnes of medical cannabis imported during the year.

These figures demonstrate how significantly the sector has developed in recent years and highlight the increasing need for robust clinical, pharmaceutical and distribution infrastructure as patient numbers continue to grow.

Business of Cannabis Awards

The first day of Cannabis Europa concluded with the Business of Cannabis Awards, bringing the industry together to recognise individuals and organisations contributing to the development of the cannabis sector.

It was a great way to round off an already busy and inspiring day of conversations, new connections and industry insights. We were pleased to be part of the evening and would like to congratulate all of the nominees and winners for their achievements and contribution to moving the industry forward.

Continuing the Conversation

For us, Cannabis Europa is about more than attending a conference. Returning year after year gives us an opportunity to follow how the industry is evolving, strengthen relationships and continue learning from the people helping to shape the sector.
